RISE 22 is a family-run performance gym based at Kingswood Business Park, Baldonnel, Dublin 22, Ireland. RISE 22 is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.

This notice explains how we handle personal information in connection with our website at rise22gym.com.

This website is an information-only website. It has no contact form, no account or login, no newsletter sign-up, no booking system, no payment processing and no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. We do not build marketing lists or profiles from your visit.

When you load a page, our hosting provider processes standard technical information that is necessary to deliver the page to you, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and basic browser information. This is handled in server logs for security and reliability, not to identify you.

If you choose to email us at the address above, we receive the information you include in that email.

Delivering and securing the website, including the technical information described above: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating a safe, working website.

Replying to an email you send us: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to enquiries, or the steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) where your enquiry is about joining RISE 22.

We do not use your website visit for marketing, and we do not sell personal information.

We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf so that the website works: our website hosting provider, and Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on the site. When a font is requested, your browser contacts Google's servers and your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request.

We may also share information where we are required to do so by law. We do not share information with advertising networks or data brokers.

RISE 22 memberships, the class timetable and appointment bookings are managed by LegitFit, an external provider. LegitFit is not embedded in this website. The JOIN RISE 22 and VIEW TIMETABLE buttons are ordinary links that take you to LegitFit's own website:

Once you follow one of those links, you are on LegitFit's platform and any information you enter there — for example your name, contact details, booking details or payment details — is processed by LegitFit under its own privacy notice and cookie practices, which we do not control. Please read LegitFit's privacy notice on their site.

RISE 22 does receive membership and booking information through our LegitFit account in order to run the gym, and we act as a controller for that information. That processing happens in LegitFit, not on this website, and is separate from this website notice.

No payment is ever taken through the RISE 22 website.

Technical server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting, and are then deleted or overwritten in line with that provider's standard practice.

Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to keep a reasonable record of our correspondence, and are deleted when no longer needed.

Information held in LegitFit is retained in line with LegitFit's platform and our need to keep membership records.

Under the GDPR you have the right to ask us for access to your personal information, to have inaccurate information corrected, to have information erased, to restrict or object to our processing, and to receive information you gave us in a portable form where that right applies. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object to that processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email rise22@rise22gym.com. We will respond within the time limits set by law. There is no charge in normal circumstances.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28 (dataprotection.ie).

We will update this notice if the website changes — for example if we ever add a contact form or analytics. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
